Sunday, July 7th: Ostia Antica
Tour Rome's ancient port city and museum then
relax at Lido di Ostia for a swim at the beach.

Monday, July 8th: Ancient Rome
Palatine, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Bocca della Verita, Temple of Vesta,Theater of Marcellus.

Tuesday, July 9th: Ancient Rome
Roman Forum, Colosseum, San Pietro in Vincoli to see Michelangelo's Moses, Trajan's Markets to see the first shopping mall then on to the Capitoline Museum

Wednesday, July 10th: La Sapienza/Villa Giulia
La Sapienza final presentation by architecture studio, Villa Giulia, former papal pleasure palace/Etruscan museum, Piazza del Popolo and Corso.

Thursday, July 11th: Renaissance Rome
Borghese Gardens, Borghese Museum, works by Caravaggio, Bernini, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain.

Friday, July 12th: the Renaissance to the Baroque
Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori, Palazzo Farnese, Palazzo
Spada, Piazza Navona, Palazzo Altemps: private tour, mausoleum of Augustus, Ara Pacis.

Saturday, July 13th: arrivederci Roma!
Relocate to the international Center for Sustainable Urbanism in Capranica. Room assignment/check-in
Lago di Vico: swim, tour of nearby Etruscan ruins

Sunday, July 14th:Studio Session
Lecture: the Nolli map of Rome, building fabric and urban structure, Design Intro, SketchUp Intro

Monday, July 15th: Studio Session
SketchUp, Modelmaking Intro, Design Session, Freehand Sketching, swim in volcanic Lago di Vico.

Tuesday, July 16th: Landscape Architecture
Bomarzo: Park of Monsters (Il Parco dei Mostri di Bomarzo), Bagnaia: Villa Lante, sketching.

Wednesday, July 17th: Studio Session
Design Session, SketchUp Session , Modelmaking Session, swim at Lago di Vico.

Thursday, July 18th: Charette with La Sapienza
Independent work,Team Assignments, Collaborative design charette.

Friday, July 19th: Charette with La Sapienza
Collaborative charette final, presentation of final designs, closing ceremony, dinner and party

Saturday, July 20th: Tarquinia
Studio Session then on to Tarquinia ancient Etruscan city for an afternoon at the beach
and giro through surrounding area.

Sunday, July 21st: Villas Across Time
Day trip to Tivoli to view Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este followed by evening Studio Session.

Monday, July 22nd: Vatican City
Day trip to the Vatican museums, church and piazza, Castel Sant'Angelo

Tuesday, July 23rd: back at the Center
Studio Session: finalizing design and preparing final presentation in SketchUp and in model format
Lago di Vico: evening swim

Wednesday, July 24th: Studio Session
Finalizing presentation
Lago di Vico: swim

Thursday, July 25th: Roma Moderna
Morning shopping spree in central Rome
Museo Maxxi by renowned architect Zaha Hadid

Depart for Fiumcino Airport
